Top Tips for perfect bridal make-up

- Avoid facials in the week before your big day. Facials can cause some slight irration and mild breakouts so try to stabilise your skin care routine 3 – 6 months before, with a course of facials and the right skin care routine firmly established. Relaxing body treatments are a luxury and a pedicure is essential for the honeymoon. A couple of Manicures in advance will ensure that your hands look picture perfect too.
- If you are considering fake tanning, have a practice run through well in advance to be sure of the intensity. Try it out with the make-up, and of course with the dress. Test eyelash tinting for perfect waterproof eyelashes and perfect your eyebrow shape 2-3 months before.
- Make sure that your bridesmaids’ make-up, in particular their lipstick, works with your wedding theme.
- Will the hair and make-up last all day? When you make the run-through appointment with your hairdresser, or our stylist, get our professional advice for make-up too. The most important thing is for you to feel comfortable and look like a perfect vision of yourself.
- Long-lasting make-up starts with a perfectly clean and primed skin and uses minimal layers of the colours that work for you, applied with the right tools.
- During the week before make time for re-varnish, lash tinting and tanning appointments.
